President Trump signed two executive orders at a White House Rose Garden dinner with hundreds of representatives from outdoor organizations, including the NRA, Bass Pro Shops, and the USA Shooting Foundation.

The orders reversed Biden's lead ammunition restrictions outright.

They also locked in a new regulatory default: federal land is open to hunters unless agencies can document a legal justification to close it.

Trump told the crowd what Democrats spent four years pretending wasn't true: "We believe that public lands belong to the American people and to the public, and hunters, fishers, and outdoorsmen should be able to access them, and they weren't able to."
