The ST IWB Revolver Holster places the mount to the side of the cylinder for a thinner profile. The clip can be raised or lower to adjust ride height on longer barrels; shorter barrels will have a standard mid ride. Because of the cylinder, you will get very little reverse cant; forward cant is possible up to 15 degrees for the Nylon Clip and 30 degrees for any of our Kydex Clips. The ST IWB Revolver Holster can be worn anywhere on the belt including Appendix. Best suited for just in front or just behind the hip for maximum concealment and comfort.

**All Silent Thunder Holsters are leather lined with quality domestic veg tanned leather from either Hermann Oak or Wickett & Craig. We do not use imported or chromium leather.

5 of 5 Great product Great service April 18, 2017
Reviewer: M Riley from STV, AZ United States
I learned of Garrett Holsters from another customer. I never owned a Kydex holster before this. That being said, these are not your run of the mill "plastic" holsters by a long shot. Just by taking it out of the box, I knew this was something different. No question that this is the best holster I've ever owned.
I just returned from a 4600 mile driving trip wearing this IWB revolver holster 10-12 hours every day. Totally comfortable.
Everyone I've dealt with at Garrett has been very personable and helpful in answering all my questions.
I'm 110% satisfied with the holster and the service.

5 of 5 Almost Exactly What I'd Expected February 26, 2017
Reviewer: Stephen P. Wenger from http://spw-duf.info
I'd planned for a while to replace the leather holsters for the pair of S&W 640-1's that I carry AIWB sometime this year, when I'd have some spare cash. This was mostly because I'd seen some sweat damage to the leather.

Before I got around to placing the order, I was made aware of the Ulticlip and chose that option, although I don't believe that it's listed on the website. That choice eliminates the adjustments for height and cant but, for IWB carry, the straight drop was what I needed anyway.

When the holsters arrived, I did notice a bit of sound on the draw but I eliminated that by reducing the tension on the retention screws.

I have no hesitation in recommending this holster but I do recommend phoning in and discussing the pros and cons of the various belt-mounting options.

4 of 5 Good Holster August 7, 2016
Reviewer: Dennis from Jersey Shore, PA
I have used this holster for a Smith 640 Pro that I carry Appendix almost every day.  The fit and finish of the holster is excellent, and the molding allows for a secure yet easy to drawl fit of the firearm.  The holster itself is very comfortable in my chosen carry method, and is easily removed and reapplied when needed without having to remove the revolver.

5 of 5 My go to Holster May 17, 2016
Reviewer: Al
Ive accumulated a bucket full of all styles of holsters, iwb hybrid dual clip holsters, single clip nylon, single clip leather,OWB and friction no clip holsters for my little J-Frame revolver.
The silent thunder revolver holster i have is well made, more comfortable than i thought it would be,and it has made me put all my other holsters in storage. The retention is tight enough and smooth to draw. The one upgrade i made to the stock holster was the clip. I purchased my silent thunder with the stock clip. The clip worked well, and the holster stayed in place, but i was looking for something alittle more solid. I ordered the wide heavy duty clip.Once that's clipped around my leather 1 1/2 belt,Its solid. I've got about 4 months of daily use since I've purchased it,It has some sweat stains around the edges of the leather, some scratches on the kydex. And the leather is still bonded to the kydex perfect.
I highly recommend this product.

5 of 5 Great Kydex IWB Holster May 11, 2016
Reviewer: Big Iron
Recently Ruger released the 3 inch LCRX, and me being the Ruger fan and LCR fan, I had to get it for carry. Well, like most new guns with unusual profiles, finding a holster proved difficult. So I went on the hunt, ending up right here at Garrett. I researched the holsters that they make, and Emailed Garrett to see if they were able to make a holster for the LCRX-3. They can and did. I placed my order the 27th of March and got my holster April 10th. Not bad for a custom maker, but not the fastest. It didn't make a difference to me though, as I have no problems waiting for quality. And let me tell you, that is exactly what these holsters are; quality. everything about the holster is superb. Down to the edges of the kydex, this is a extremely refined holster that does everything astoundingly well, with one minor exception- it is not the most comfortable IWB I have had, as the outside, as you can see from the pictures provided, is bare kydex. It isn't horrendously uncomfortable, but you won't forget that you have a gun on you, which you shouldn't anyway... but you get the point. The good however, makes this worth every penny spent. I'll break it down-

-Overall build quality. Superb, from the high quality kydex, to the finely finished leather lining, down to the perfectly rounded edges, this holster is, in my opinion, the absolute top of the line.

-Durability. Great. This, again, is as high of quality kydex you can get in my years of experience, and can withstand a lot of abuse, even despite realistically an IWB holster will not take that much as an OWB. I bashed it with a steel hammer multiple times, stood on it, and intentionally fell on it onto concrete. It is still good as the moment I opened the box. Talk about trusting your gear.

-Weight. Despite the tank-like durability of the kydex, it is considerably light. Not the lightest out there, but not heavy enough to be an issue.

-Clip. Garrett offers multiple clip options. I chose the Heavy duty Wide, and it is just that; heavy duty. It is every bit as durable at the rest of the holster. It also is very stiff, ensuring wherever you put your gun on your belt that it will stay there, even under heavy duress.

-Retention. While adjustable, whatever level of retention you choose, it'll stay there and holds your gun like a champ. While my gun is very light, I have no doubt that the holsters will retain heavier, full metal guns without issue. Not to mention the silence of re-holstering. The unique design of Garrett holsters allows for silent drawing and re-holstering which can be invaluable in a bad situation.

-Concealability. This depends on the gun just as well as te holster, and this holster does a wonderful job. I have some print, but that is due to my grip being fairly long. The holster itself is as minimal as it gets, while retaining outlandish functionality. It'll keep prying eyes guessing.

Long story short- if you're looking for arguably the highest quality IWB Kydex holster on this considerably overcrowded market, then get a Garrett. You won't be disappointed. I wasn't and I am going to order many more for my other handguns.
